Innovative Ideas For Axe Throwing At The Cutting Edge

Cutting Edge features cover all the latest bright ideas in the contemporary axe throwing community

Axe being sharpened on grinder with sparks

Throughout the centuries the humble axe has seen many cutting edge innovations – not least being the idea of throwing it for sport! The Cutting Edge features cover all the latest bright ideas across the contemporary axe throwing community – some you may want to try out (and others may be left on the drawing board).

These features aren’t simply advertisements for people selling their products, although I’m happy to namecheck anyone who has a product worthy of promotion. (It is possible for features to be sponsored, but these will be labelled clearly as such, and readers should treat the content appropriately.)

The aim is to highlight good ideas for the benefit of the broad axe throwing world. Some ideas may appeal more to tournament throwers, while others more to recreational throwers. Some ideas are more revolutionary than others, but I also deal with the often simple, even mundane, practical technologies that help to expand the axe throwing industry.

Let me know your “cutting edge” innovations

If you know of some axe throwing innovation, big or small, I’d love to hear from you. I can’t keep abreast of all the new things going on without your help. Please email: editor@theaxethrower.com
